  • The lyrics in Weathervane by Kris Delmhorst "I make a really good friend when there's an end in sight." A bittersweet, joyful truth. My mom had such wonderful, loving friends.

  • Getting a text picture of the newest addition to our family: Kate Davis - born last night to Seth and Jenn.

  • My friend left me a voice mail with great news: her son's heart murmur is an "innocent heart murmur" and her dad is officially cancer free! Hallelujah!
  • This weekend, my mother-in-law was telling me a story about my niece visiting an animal refuge in Cleveland and imitating a fox. Her facial expressions cracked me up.
